ირაკლი ფარჯიანი მიეკუთვნება ქართულ მხატვრობაში იმ მცირეთაგანს, რომელმაც ძველი მეხსიერებით შექმნა ახალი პოსტმოდერნისტული ქართული ხელოვნება. მისი ფერწერა ერთგვარი ხიდია კულტურული დიალოგების, ეგოცენტრული ზრახვებისგან გაცლილია და შემოაქვს ადამიანის თავისუფალი ცნობიერება ქართულ საერო მხატვრობაში.  ფარჯიანის სინათლის ფერწერა მეტაფორულია; იგი ეძებს და ანათებს ადამიანისეულ საწყისებსა თუ საზრისებს სურათის გაუნათებელ ნაპრალებში.
